"I go ice skate"

George and Babar both go skating in their respective books, and Ebes has been pretty interested, so we decided to take her to the park district rink to try it out.


How cute are these little size 8s?!


Hard to tell from the pics, but it was a big hit! She kept repeating "I go ice skate, I go ice skate."

In fact, we only got her out of by saying we were going to a restaurant, at which point the mantra became "I eat fries." here's the bug girl in hog heaven, eating a grilled cheese and fries in "own chair," and choosing between THREE TVs playing sports (hockey, football, and basketball, she mostly went for hockey, although strong man contest was in the running while it was on). What a day!


Claire chose football.
