All I Want for Christmas is an Umbrella

Seriously, the most requested gift was definitely an umbrella. Elizabeth was definitely excited, but had to get over some concerns about the Big Guy in order to see that he'd followed through. When Mike went in to get her on Christmas morning, her first word was "Santa?" Mike replied that yes, Santa had come! At which point, Ebie hid in Mike's closet and had to be convinced that Santa was no longer in our house, but that he'd brought her lots of great toys. And candy.

Claire showing Ebie how her new nap mat works.

Candy!!!

Both girls in the "Ebie Claire wagon." We have some cute video but haven't had a chance to edit down an excerpt for the blog.

Claire really enjoyed the wagon.

Ebes checking out the baby "Bjorn" that Claire gave her. One of her favorite lines is "Claire's crying. She needs bouncing. Try Bjorn." So she thought she might like a purple Bjorn for her baby.

Ebie got Claire a music box. When it was opened, Elizabeth was a little unsure if she really wanted to gift it. She kept saying "I have this music box. I have this music box at Grammy's house." But she eventually relented.

Overall, they had a great time with gifts from Santa and Mom and Dad! The video is fun. I just love her little voice and the hilarious things she says. Will try to get to that sometime...

Also have more pics from Grammy and G'pa's house! We headed there after gifts and a late breakfast on Christmas morning.
