bret never crawled! at 8.5 months, he just jumped up one day and started running. evan only crawled for a teeny bit of time. maybe she just wants to skip ahead to the walking and running part! she probably saw other kids crawling and said.."hmm, that looks a little bit uncomfortable on my knees, and there is a good chance i might damage my super cute pants..i think i'm going to go ahead and skip that and go straight to walking".
